Its durable, high-quality synthetic insulation traps heat (even when wet), whether worn under a shell or layered over a top, and the polyester shell blocks wind and resists snow. It just got more earth-friendly, too: We now make the entire garment with recycled polyester content. An interior zippered chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack (with a carabiner clip-in loop), invisible zips close the two handwarmer pockets, and the main zipper is DWR (durable water repellent) coated. Off-the-shoulder seams are comfortable under shoulder straps, and a regular fit accommodates thick underlayers.
